New York Jazzharmonic at Washington Square Music Festival

  • Washington Square Music Festival Washington Square N New York, NY United States (map)

I'll be playing in a new big band project co-directed by bassist/composer Ron Wasserman (who holds the principal chair in the New York City Ballet Orchestra) and composer Miho Hazama. This is going to be a fun and diverse night of music, outdoors at the Washington Square Music Festival! We will be featuring some compositions and arrangements by our guest soloist: the Argentinean bandoneon virtuoso J.P. Jofre. We will also be performing compositions and arrangements by Ron Wasserman and Miho Hazama, as well as a few standards from the big band repertoire. Here's the lineup:

Ron Wasserman - artistic director and conductor
Miho Hazama - associate director and conductor
J.P. Jofre - bandoneon; Elvy Yost -vocalist (guest artists)
